TRAINING CODE 001 - [First Rep]

THE STANDARD STARTS HERE

Training does not need to be complicated.

You do not need the perfect programme.

You do not need the perfect gym.

You do not need the perfect time.

You just need to show up.

That is where the standard begins.

At VSLF, we believe training is more than building a body. It is a daily test of discipline. A place where you meet yourself, challenge yourself, and prove that you are capable of more than you felt like doing.

The goal is not to be perfect.

The goal is to become harder to beat.

START WITH THE BASICS

The best training is the training you can repeat.

Too many people overcomplicate it at the start.

They jump between workouts.

They chase random exercises.

They train only when motivation feels high.

But progress does not come from doing everything.

It comes from doing the right things consistently.

A strong foundation is built on strength, conditioning, mobility, and recovery.

Nothing needs to be extreme.

It just needs to be done with intent.

STRENGTH

Strength is the base.

It is built through lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and controlling your body through proper movement.

You do not need to lift the most in the room.

You need to move well.

You need to stay consistent.

You need to get stronger over time.

CONDITIONING

Conditioning builds your engine.

This could be running, boxing, cycling, circuits, or anything that challenges your fitness and keeps you moving.

It teaches your body to keep going when things get uncomfortable.

It builds more than fitness.

It builds resilience.

MOBILITY

Mobility keeps the body moving properly.

It helps you train better, recover better, and reduce that restricted, tight feeling that holds you back.

It does not need to be complicated.

A few minutes every day can make a real difference.

Move your joints.

Stretch what feels tight.

Keep your body ready.

RECOVERY

Recovery is part of the work.

Sleep, food, hydration, stretching, and proper rest all matter.

You cannot perform well if your body is constantly running empty.

Training hard is important.

Recovering properly is what allows you to come back and do it again.

TRAIN WITH PURPOSE

Every session should have a reason.

You are either getting stronger, fitter, sharper, faster, more mobile, or more disciplined.

Before you train, ask yourself one question:

What am I here to improve today?

That one question changes the session.

It gives your training direction.

It stops you from going through the motions.

It turns training from something you “get done” into something you build from.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

A strong training week does not need to be complicated.

For most people, a solid foundation could look like this:

2–3 strength sessions per week.

1–2 conditioning sessions per week.

Daily movement.

Proper recovery.

That is enough to build from.

The aim is not to destroy yourself every session.

The aim is to build a body and mindset that can keep coming back.

DISCIPLINE BEATS MOTIVATION

Motivation is useful, but it is not reliable.

It comes and goes.

Discipline is different.

Discipline is training when you do not feel ready.

Discipline is doing the basics when nobody is watching.

Discipline is choosing the harder option because you know what it is building.

That is the real standard.

Not the post.

Not the outfit.

Not the perfect session.

The standard is what you do repeatedly.

YOU VS YOU

Training will always show you where you are.

It exposes your habits.

Your limits.

Your excuses.

Your effort.

But that is the point.

You are not training to impress everyone else.

You are training to close the gap between who you are now and who you know you can become.

That is the VSLF mindset.

The only competition is you.

BUILD FROM TODAY

Do not wait for the perfect start.

Start with one session.

Move well.

Train with intent.

Recover properly.

Then come back and do it again.

That is how momentum is built.

That is how confidence is earned.

That is how the standard is created.

Built On Discipline.

Become the Standard.
